Instructor Orientation

If you are interested in teaching or will be teaching in the fall, please attend the instructor orientation on Thursday, August 13, at 6pm at New Design School. We will cover the term goals and resources available to you for teaching.

What are the goals and descriptions of the seminars?

What are the durations of seminars?

Seminars are held in 12 week sessions during fall, spring and summer. An extra week is included for flexibility in the event of a holiday or personal day. 24 hour seminars are 2 hours per week and 18 hour seminars are 1.5 hours per week. All seminars are held between the hours of 6 and 9 pm Monday through Thursday.

When are seminars held?

Fall 2009: August 24 to November 19
Spring 2010: January 11 to April 8
Summer 2010: April 26 to July 22

What is the compensation?

Pay is $20 per classroom hour or $360 for 18 hour seminars and or $480 for 24 hour seminars.
